Leading to a Level 4 Certificate in Mental Health Aware Leadership (Educational Mental Health Lead) in addition to accreditation as a Designated Mental Health Lead.

Schools and colleges can apply for DfE funding to cover the £800 cost of this course: see tile below for details.

Each meeting will provide an opportunity to share experiences, resources and strategies that have had a positive impact, alongside an opportunity to discuss barriers and how they were/could be overcome.

These strategies and suggestions will be collated to create a resource pack that will be offered to schools.

The topics covered in the meetings will be guided by feedback from the group and could include things such as mental health, trauma informed practice and supporting learning in the curriculum.

There will be a charge of £50+VAT per school for the summer term sessions and staff may attend as many sessions as they like.

Regular meetings of teachers with a clear focus on research and evidence and opportunity for continued professional development.

We will be looking closely at the intention, implementation and impact of high quality inclusive practice for Reception class teaching and learning.

• Be the first to hear about the 2024/25 offer and what it means for your school or setting. 

• Network with other Designated Teachers in your locality. 

• Hear updates on latest changes to relevant guidance, for example new duties in respect of kinship carers. 

• Meet your locality Advisers, ask questions, and arrange visits. 

These events will be held across Norfolk to allow as many professionals as possible to join in person. Advisers will attend the briefing of the Locality area which they are linked to, however delegates are free to attend a briefing in an alternative locality to that which their school setting is in.
