They pushed out a "Kool to be Kind" Google Form to all students and filmed an announcement encouraging students to nominate their peers for genuine acts of kindness and will be giving out prizes for students that were nominated. They also did a secret sticker give away - get one, give one. Ambassadors handed out kindness stickers during the week to any students they saw demonstrating kindness. They also gave that student a second sticker to hand out to a peer that they saw demonstrating kindness to spread kindness throughout our building.

The ambassadors also took the lead for our Trimester 1 Celebration. The ambassadors hosted a Bingo Game that was broadcasted live for all students. Every day during the week of Nov. 8-12, student ambassadors sold "Kindness Cards" that other students could decorate with stickers and write a nice message addressed to a friend or faculty member. These were distributed to first period teachers to pass out. In addition, the Student Ambassadors initiated a spirit week, consisting of days like "Identity Day" and "True Colors" Day. Next week, the student ambassadors are delivering "KIND" bars to staff members during advocacy along with a nice personalized note. Turkey feathers- each classroom will add a turkey feather of thankfulness to add to a big ol' turkey in the hall.

Each student in LP made a handprint with their name and things they are thankful for. We are also in the middle of hosting a toy drive for Amita Women's and Children's hospital, as well. This is a hot chocolate bar to help get families interested in the book fair during conferences. This year they prepacked hot chocolate to go for families to take with them and enjoy at home. It helped bring families into the LMC and we had a record year in book fair sales!!! Right now the ambassadors are stocking the food pantry with meat for Thanksgiving. We just purchased some chickens and turkeys and are hoping to add hams to it as well. The families that come in before the holiday will be invited to choose a meat to take home with them for a holiday meal. On Tuesday December 21st we will invite our FRL students to stay and "shop" for gifts for their family members. They will choose toys and holiday decorations to wrap up and take home. This event is a tradition at Keller.
