Although the idea of individualism and self reliance is a critical character trait to have due to the harsh reality that is life, the saying of "strength in numbers" applies to the goal of a beatifically society. The idea of unity allows people to learn from each other and better our community, achieving advancements we never thought were possible through a group effort. If we all work together, we can defeat our enemies and those who are against us faster and stronger.
