Although Michael started his career as a part of the Jackson 5, his solo career began in the early 1970s, and he quickly became one of the most famous and successful entertainers in the world. After creating that many say is the best album of all time "Thriller" Michael Jackson unfortunately died on June 25, 2009, from acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his home in Los Angeles, California.
