Through this project, we aim to lend a helping hand to those struggling near Katipunan. As the function is open to anyone who needs to come, this project is fixated on the informal community in and around Katipunan where we are able to reach those who are in need of support and satisfy their basic needs when they are unable to do so themselves. Our group intends to not only provide help to the unfortunate but also to strengthen the community as a whole, as people from different backgrounds come together to help in any way they can, despite not having the exact same experiences as those who have been affected more severely by the pandemic, because sustainability is a right for everyone.

Other challenges that the communities are facing is the uncertainty of the future and what’s to come. It is causing the members of the community to feel anxious and unsure of what to do during this challenging period in their lives. This epidemic has caused many negative effects on everyone’s mental health and it adds more weight to the mental weight that is already so heavy.
