Should the ML department be in a separate room? They mostly teach different grade levels and don't share many students with other core teachers.

If we're going to have multiple conferences happening simultaneously in one grade level, it shouldn't be in one classroom, especially when using Language Line + speaker phone, it's just too hard to hear with so many conversations.

Grade-level teachers (collaborating with Wheel and elective teachers) develop a list of focal students in a Google sheet. Teachers then divide who will call to schedule which students. Teachers update spreadsheet as they schedule and make calls.

Feedback indicates that we need to send ONE message to families ahead of time: Due to limited time slots during conference week, grade level teachers will identify, prioritize and schedule with FOCAL students. If you do not receive communications from a school staff to schedule a conference BUT would like to meet with teachers, please wait until after the conference week to schedule a meeting with teachers separately.
