At first, I planned to concentrate on just poverty but as I researched my everyday surroundings, I noticed subtle distinctions of social classes in American Landscapes. As i continued my investigation, I found myself leaning towards using other materials such as cardboard, Styrofoam, polymer clay, as well as hot glue. when adding details to my pieces, I experimented mostly with the consistency of the mediums of paint I used. In most of my projects i used several layers of watered down acrylic paint to achieve the values and details I wanted.
