Some of the main events in the story are when August goes to school for the first time ever. Another one is when he goes to camp with all of the kids in his grade or when it is the science fare. The last the that happens that is substantial to me is that he wants to go back to school the next year and he really likes school.

I think that at the beginning of the story August was kind of hesitant to go to school because he didn't have any friends and that he thought that no one would except him because of his face. Then as the story progresses he gets more friends as starts to get excited to go to school. By the end of the book August is friends with about everyone and he loves to go to school because he can be with his friends there

I think that the writing craft or style is to have straight forward story that dives right in and then they just let the words flow as they thought them and then went back looked at what they just wrote and try to make the works a little different to make the story sound better and not written by a two year old

My opinion of the book is that The people that bullied August a the beginning of the story should never have even if the characters are fake they became friends at the end. You should never judge a book or person for that matter by its cover or face. You should get to know someone before you judge them and you should never bully anyone no matter how they look or dress because sometimes they can't help it.
