3. Super lit - it means awesome. Originates from America

4. Tilt - game slang that means someone is unstable mentally to continue the game. Originates from a pinball machine that is tilted that causes it to be unable to continue operating

5. Smurf – game slang that means to play at a lower ranking than is meant for your skill level. Originates from a username of a player that first popularise this method

6. Cuba try – literally means try try in English, Malaysian only use where it means to just try.

7. Smart – to describe someone with a nice appearance or outfit. Originates from Malaysia from the wrong usage of the word.

8. Boss – used to call a waiter in Malaysia. It is to show a form of respect to the waiter.

9. Slap – to describe something as very enjoyable. It originates from the internet

10. Lata – game slang that means ‘later’. Originates from a popular streamer (Trick2G)

Hella – mean either “a lot of” or “very” (“she is hella stupid”)

Duh – a way to say “of course” 

Wannabe – someone who wants to achieve or be of a certain class but can’t (“she is a wannabe Ariana Grande”)

Legit – short for ‘legitimate’ and means cool or real (“the contest seems legit”)

Def – short for ‘definitely’, usually in text 

Bad – A compliment (“she is the baddest”)

As if – “yeh right” or “as if that’s true”

Totally – to emphasize the importance of something (“I totally understand”)

Big time – to emphasize on something (“we screwed up big time”)

Psyched– excited (“I’m psyched for this party”)

Sike – to indicate what was just said is false (“I got the PS5 for you…SIKE!”)

Chicken – coward (“stop being a chicken”)

◦TALK TO THE HAND – used when you heard enough from somebody,

◦FYI, BRB, GTG – Short form that mostly used during sending text or email

◦HELLA – Derive from the word “Hell of” same meaning as really

◦WHATEVER! - Whatever! works great when you don’t agree with someone but don’t want to fight about it anymore.
