         <description><![CDATA[<p>This is a picture of a Leather Back sea turtle skull. The turtles jaw makes it easy to feed on their diet of the soft-bodied animals such as the jelly fish. If they eat a hard-bodied animals their jaws can be severely damaged if consumed.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The vertebrae of a turtle looks like the spine of human. The inside of the protective shell of a turtle is where the vertebrae is.  Also, the scutes surrounding the vertibral scute are called the costal scutes.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Baby turtles or any turtle can not see the color red . When baby turtles hatch they follow the light of the moon to get to the ocean. The red light allows you to watch a turtle hatch without disrupting. By using a flash light, it may confuse them into thinking the flashlight is the moonlight.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Sea grass has many purposes including shelter for fish and a food source for some sea creatures.  Grunts, drums, seabass, and more use sea grass as shelter.  There is about 52 different kind of sea grass worldwide such as stargrass, shoal grass, and turtle grass.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Mangroves provide sanctuary for smaller fish and crabs. this is a replica of how the underwater habitat works in harmony. Fish can live inside mangroves giving nutrients to the mangroves causing them to trap and cycle the nutrients.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Turtles have both an internal and external skeleton which is very different from most animals.  An interesting fact about the esophagus is lined with keratinized projections.  Also, the turtle is composed of the trachea, liver, heart, kidney, lungs, stomach, gonad, intestines, liver, urinary bladder, and the cloaca.  All of the organs in the turtles play an important part in their everyday lifestyle.  </p>]]></description>

         <title>6. Artificial lighting vs. moonlight</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Any type of sea turtle whether its a baby or an adult can easily get misslead to artificial light. When the sea turtle hatchlings make there way out of the dunes when first born they can easily mistake street lights for the moon light.  This leads to little sea turtles getting hunted by predators because of missleading lights. </p>]]></description>

         <title>7. Description and picture of Archelon </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Archelon turtle lived around 64-75 million years ago, around the times of the dinosaurs.  This old turtle on average to be 12 feet long and weigh two tons.  This turtle characteristics includes a leathery back and wide paddle like legs. The Archelon's diet is mostly jellyfish and squids.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The sea turtle can eat a variety of foods in the ocean because of their strong jaws.  These animals can eat jelly fish, crustaceans, and sea weed.  During the lecture we were taught that the turtles can also eat sea sponges which as we touched were very hard.  Sea turtles are known as omnivores (eats both plants and animals). </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This aquarium shows the sea life that closer to the shore, like small fish and reefs. Near shore reefs are home to smaller species of fish, and animals but that doesn't mean these reefs are any less important to an ecosystem.</p>]]></description>
