Activity: The TCH will read a book and will interact with the students asking questions throughout the reading, CC will be encouraged to draw their favorite part of the book.

Quality Time: CC will talk about their thoughts on the book, and they will have to pick their favorite book to share with everyone next week.

TCH will record themselves talking about their families using photos, a puppet show, a drawing or interviewing them. TCH will ask questions to CC about their families to motivate them to draw, represent or talk about them (connected to activity 2). 

CC will gather liquids they find around their house like water, oil, dish soap, syrup, and such and also a clear cup or container. With these materials. They will predict what will happen when poured into the container and later experiment on their own to find out what happened and show their final results.

Differentiation: CC can use as many liquids as they want. They can also verbalize the outcome of the experiment.

CC will present their family to their friends. They can choose either to draw, interview, show a picture or a puppet show. 

CC will post a photo to share it with the other families on the Seesaw blog.  

Differentiation: SS will record a video talking about their family using different materials and ideas.

 Cc will squeeze a sponge, towel and/or cloth  in order to fill up empty bottles, buckets and/or containers until the limit line. They should try not to pass the line. 

An adaption to this activity can be to use different tools such as a spoon, tongs, syringes, and different materials such as rice, lentils, pasta, for them to identify which tool will work better for each material.

Differentiation:

CC will create a reading fort to share reading time with their parents or use it for their own book exploration.
