What I loved about these stories is the voices that my dad or grandma would make to change between characters and how they took their time to tell a lesson through a story.

One of my favorite stories told is one called Mob Psycho 100. The show was something I was really able to relate with when I first saw it and help me reflect on myself and the problems I was having as a time. I really found myself within the main character Mob and seeing him go through his struggles inspired me to take a new approach to my own. Many of the lessons I learned through the show still hold true today and on top of all of that the show and extension are really enjoyable overall.
-Jonathon

Ethan Robison As a kids, my family always watcher either Harry Potter (how I dressed up as 3 halloweens in a row) and Lord of the Rings. Out of these, I still enjoy Lord of the Rings the most, this is probably because of the grand scale of the battle scenes, the landscapes pictured throughout the story, and the simple yet rich story. It got to the point where instead of watching the movies again, we would watch the behind the scenes, cast interviews, the prop and set construction, and other related media. To this day, I still watch the special extended editions in as few sittings as I can, and each time, I find something new to enjoy and appreciate.

I’ve always been intrigued by them and this one especially because it always scared children when listening to it. The imagery associated with it and the life lessons behind it were the most memorable. The advice hinted at by the story is, don’t go into the woods at night alone, don’t go into a strangers house, don’t walk along a dark road at night and trust no new person unless you know them well. -Chloe

The movie is great and is a motivator for all girls everywhere (Frozen can die because the statement "fIrSt mOvIe wItH pOwErFuL fEmAlE cHaRaCtErS" is false) And it held a really powerful message. Mulan is not only a strong female character but also challenges the societal norms of Chinese culture and growing up as a hispanic female, I guess I can relate to some of those norms cause in a lot of households women are expected to stay home and do housework while men go out and work. I also just like the songs sooo ~Luz

I recently heard a slavic tale about a witch called the Baby Jaga. She is never the main character in the story. She doesn't always look the same. Sometimes pretty sometimes stereotypical. She also never had the same intentions. She could've an evil witch, a good witch, or just a witch. One story of hers is a knightcoms across her in the woods. She warrwarr warns him of a monsthat kills all who come near. The knight kills the beast and finds a lone child. Being egotistical he brags about how he killed the beast. The child starts crying and more children come out of the woods. Crying for their father. The beast was their father and it was only who was protecting it children. The knight now realizing what he has done he becomes depressed and leaves. The witch comes along and takes the children.
