My school is called "Dunarea" the Romanian name for Danube, because my city, Galati, lies on the Danube bank. I'm passionate about different cultures, reading and travelling (well, not so much of it, last year!).

Hello! I teach English as a foreign language as well as cross-curricular projects at an upper secondary school with students aged 15-18 and older. Some of them are refugees who are still struggling with English and Greek. I also teach German and English to learners of all ages with an innovative approach to experiential learning, known as Suggestopedia. I have been a trainer in Suggestopedia for 30 years. My aspiration is to integrate subject knowledge in my language classes using the blended learning methodology for social inclusion and promote natural, effortless learning. I am coordinating an Erasmus+ KA229 project for the peer-teaching of languages via culture starting out with the partners' languages. As a follow-up, the students from different backgrounds at all six partner schools will peer-teach their native languages. I am sure that this course will be as helpful as the other School Education Gateway courses I have taken before and I intend to convey its spirit and share the resources with my school-based colleagues. Let's all make the best of it!!!
