My first class attending in this 4^th semester. CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION (EDU555) basically give us a roughly idea about the syllabus and the contents in the school right now.
In our first class my lecture, Sir Muhamad Furkan had discussing our learning outcome and the course outline for this courses. it seem like very interesting subject because there are a lot of different i could finds in educational system compare in my area. there are a lot of changes that had being made for the future generation as to compete with another country.

As i mentioned before, today i will show my article to be done in my first task which is Article Review. This assignment contribute 5% but before showing my article, Sir Furkan had show us some details about KSSM and also DSKP.

What is KSSM?😦
KSSM (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah), has one new word in it ‘Standard’. In this new curriculum, there are set standards of learning that our children have to achieve at the different levels of their schooling. This means that when our children complete a particular level of schooling, they are expected to have achieved a preset standard of knowledge, skills and values. At specific times at each level these learning standards will be measured to ensure that no child gets left behind.

Assalamualaikum everyone, as mentioned before now we already in week 4.
Qualities of an effective teacher is the first introductory giving by Sir Furkan. Based on John Dewey there are a lots of things to be an effective teacher. Firstly, prepared well and clearly set up goals. Therefore, the student will know why they having this subject in the class, by knowing the objective the student are able to have a good direction based on their learning. Next, aim to make sure teaching contact with all their children as possible. For example by doing discussion really helps to enhance the student ability in answering the question given. From that teacher also can distinguish the level of understanding among the student. Actually there are more than 2 example given here to be an effective teacher. At the end of this i will attach the note for your references. I hope it will helps you for better understanding.

Assalamualikum everyone, so today in the class we are learn how to write up our lesson plan as for next assessment we need to do MICRO TEACHING.
 
Why we need to have our lesson plan? 
This is compulsory to all the teacher before entering the class. Lesson plan are based on KSSM and DKSP that had being provided by Ministry of education. Lesson plan also act as guideline to the teacher so that they know what to do and what to teach in the class. As list at an effective teacher need to well prepared and clearly set up goals.  
I will attach the format of Lesson plan later as i finished write up it.

the lecture continue with the Model of Curriculum, There are 4 MODEL OF CURRICULUM :
1) Tyler's
2) Dynamic
3) TABA
4) Contemporary

Firstly Tyler's model roughly i describe as person who are follow a sequence. For example there are person who cannot jump to the next question although they are stuck in question no 1. Why I'm giving this example because as we learn Tyler's follow from objective, content, method, and lastly evaluation. Objective, starting the aim and the objective of the program based on the respective philosophy. Next, Content which select the contents and material to helps archiving the objective,then need method to decided either suitable or not and lastly, determine the method to measure or extent objective are archive or not.

Assalamualikum everyone. 
In the next class we are discussing about how to get a good induction in our MICRO-Teaching. Sir had been pick randomly to know what are our plans to be done in set induction. As you know, set induction is the point teacher are not start the teaching yet but act as warming up to grab students attention. therefore, the set induction need to be interested, simple and related to the topic need to be teach on that day.
Mechanisms as storytelling, provide an example and showing a picture can helps to gain student attention before jump to the lesson.
As a conclusion, set induction is really important to the teacher and the student because it will keep the good momentum and interest toward the lesson had being taught.

Assalamualikum everyone.
Monday, 10.30 am all the student that taking EDU555 are ready to sit on our first test. All physic, biology, chemistry and math are taking the same test which is good as we are in centralized the curriculum (NPE).
The chapter that will be tested are the lesson from week 1 until week 4 which is until EVALUATION.
I just want to share something during the test was held. First test, of course all the student feels pressure to get the good result. Yes! about the test. Alhamdulillah I managed to finish it but there are certain question that totally tricky. (Yah! Standard question ma). But totally we all can answer it and actually there are many things we need to be more focus on. Lastly, teacher would like to give some advice to all of you including me, myself that we are not sitting the test, examination not only to get an higher grade, but if we did it excellent, hence it actually more than that, we need to grab the knowledge of the subject because there are a lot of this we discover in each of subject. TQ

Assamuallaikum everyone,
Next assessment in this course is MICRO TEACHING where we can choose any topic in biology syllabus Form 4- Form 5 that we would like to teach. This micro teaching quite similar when we come for an interview before this but there are different in we need to prepare the lesson plan and etc. each week, 4 presenter will present their micro teaching. Therefore my turn after end of MIDSEM break. My topic is Mechanism of Blood clotting. Nervous of course can lied but after seen the 4 presenter this week i feel really encourage to do much better and take them as lesson for be much better, insyaAllah. Having this experience more or less really helps us as future teacher to know the right method in teaching and learning. Can't wait for my turn but at the same time nervous to step on it. By the way good luck for the next 4 presenter. FIGHTING!! 👍

Assamualikum everyone, today i just feel like what to share the progress of my micro teaching  for next week which is on 13. Nov. 2018
Alhamdulillah i start construct the plan for my micro teaching since start of midterm break. The teaching aid had being try and i hope that it gonna be function well on the day. Amin. Can't deny to feel nervous to face this micro teaching. 😪
So guys, i had consult with Sir Furkan about my lesson plan and so far just a grammar mistake that ya i usually did but while re-read it again i got some changes due to some reason. For the lesson that i will be teach is about mechanism of blood clotting. Why i choose this topic it actually quite interesting topic that i would like to make the student close and got their own viewing on the process of it. Not just know the process but knew about the relationship of it. i hope i can explain well that day. Alright pray for the best! fightingggg !!!

Assalamualaikum everyone...
ALHAMDULILLAH we're done with all the lecture after Sir furkan finished it and continue with Sir hisyam and yup it finished already.
In this week we are being cover chapter INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVE AND THE INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL. Our education are mostly follow bloom taxonomy that had being discuss in chapter 1 starting from Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis and the Evaluation. There are upgraded happen which is changes from Noun -> Verb Form.

Next the last chapter roughly teach about why we need the instructional materials. Actually from that we can analyze the material is that effective or not. If not we need to change it. firstly we need to check the background and the learning style and etc. Then we also need to analyze the objective. Is the objective archive the DKSP and what Ministry of Education want it. Need to remember objective are not intended to limit what student learn but rather to provide a minimum level of expected achievement. Therefore, acknowledge individual difference in starting the objectives.
 The end ....
Lecture will be replace with micro-teaching due to still quite number of student that not finished it yet.

Assalamualikum everyone..
Alhamdulillah again because i already past the huge challenge in this semester which is my first MICRO-TEACHING. There are several things that i would like to share or highlighted.
Firstly, there are a lot of things that i need to be improve which is my teaching skill. What i learn here is if you are good in presenting, it not make sure you are good in teaching too. Presenting and teaching are totally different for my perspective.
Next, as a teacher we really need to make sure we are fully prepared with the topic that we want to teach so that the student can see the capability of us to teaching them. We also can answer their question that sometime are out of box.
Lastly is the contact of the students. what Sir Furkan said. To grab students attention we can call out their name from here the student know the teacher actually not just focusing on the topic to deliver but also attention and focus toward the students. More or less the student will more focus on the class.

I really enjoyed with my first MICRO-TEACHING and i hope i can do much much better soon. Insya-Allah.

the last assessment for EDU555 "COURSE DESIGN".
What is course design?
Course design is the process of creating quality learning environments and experiences for students. Through deliberate and structured expose to instructional materials, learning activities, and interaction, students are able to access information, obtain skills, and practice higher levels of thinking.
After done all MICRO- TEACHING, sir Furkan had being briefly to us about what we suppose to do to complete this task. "This Not Simple or Kacang Punya Kerja"
But alhamdulillah we try to find what course/program that we wanted to construct and find some sources that will support our plan.
We plan to introduce new program that relate between Science and Islam. All the teammates really like that idea and we proceed to find need analysis and the courses that we need to fill inside the program. Lastly, we distribute the task to all teammates.

Welcome Week 14..
The hectic week ever, every semester but this sem more tough because there are a lot of things that still in progress plus with the tests.
Okey let's talk about course design. Alhamdulillah almost 65% progress. We already finish each part of courses that will be fill thus it could brighten up the program. We plan to have 4 module which is
1. Beauty of Islam in Science
2. Different but the Same
3. Space discovery
4. The best way to study in Islam perspective
Next, we need to find any kind of material that support our program such as data, questionnaire, etc.
insya-Allah we could make it to submit this assignment on time. FIGHTING!!!

Tears, yes in this class i getting to emotional. There are a lot of things that i learn entire of this semester. First of all,i would like to thank Sir Furkan Mat Salleh for teach us and being such a good teacher and reference to us. Your warmed words really helps us to become much and more better. Actually becoming a teacher really challenges and if we see being a teacher is simple you are wrong! A good teacher need to have and bring the NEP inside the classroom and also everywhere teacher go. This is because it will distinguish what kind of teacher are we. Teach student as you teach yourselves before. How hard or difficult but teacher need to give the best to the student who are seek for knowledge. Teacher might face the huge difficulty but remember not here maybe hereafter we will get the big reward that we cannot get now. Try and try to improve ourselves. Never feel we are done or good enough because as human being we never perfect. Believe on yourselves and try to be the best teacher ever that could produce quality student for future. InsyaAllah.
