The paper considers the perspectives of the company owners/employees and Aborigines.12 indigenous community members and 5 company employees were interviewed. The phrase ‘corporate social responsibility’ (CSR) describes the united goal that all stakeholders should have. Company staff members saw the Aboriginal community members as static, non-negotiable, and non-problematic, while community participants viewed indigeneity (see themselves)  as inextricably bound up in identity, land, and respect. The relationship between indigenous and non-indigenous was one of tension and stress. The writer of this article did not see non-indigenous, mainstream people embracing indigenous cultural values.

The take-home message for me is that stakeholders must be intentional about engaging in a common goal for corporate social responsibility.

depends largely on how compatible they are and how well they are able to express
themselves effectively to the other person. This really stood out to me because there have been many times when I am in meetings where I thought I knew what someone was talking about and what the next step was then spoke to another person in the same meeting and what they thought and I thought were 2 different things. They are the need for achievement, the desire for competent accomplishment, and lastly, the need for power; 3 types of conflict - task, relationship, and status; and finally, 3 types of 'group' employees - competitors, relational and power seekers.
