JESUS EDUARDO CARRILLO GALAVIS

Theoretical Prospective

The theory that I will use is Quantitative Theory Use. It was developed by John Creswell (1994), and it was used to study by examining relationship among variables. According to Creswell´s theory, variables are used to refer to any topic, to give characteristics to individuals, objects or organizations, where it is measured and observed conclusive point of view, using scores or numbers that demonstrate a certain science a total definition of the study of the same way specific and concrete. As applied to my topic, this theory holds that I would expect my independent variable(s): Age, Gender, Socioeconomic Status, and Attitudes or behaviors such as racism, social control, political power, or leadership. To influence or explain the dependent variable(s):two important variables are worked on: temporal order and measurement (observation). Quantitative Theory Use, they cannot prove a cause, the variables can affect or cause another variable, but, many scientists and researchers are currently talking about probable causes, in addition, qualitative researchers give a specific order to each variable, such as propositions, research questions and visual models for different causes, therefore it can be concluded that a qualitative research can give concrete answers to different problems that exist at the social and cultural level and demonstrate its effects and the reasons why there are such social phenomena.

References

Creswell, J.
