We can conduct an experiment to determine if technology enhances learning. If students' scores are better when learning the same material, taught by the same teacher, but using different methods (traditional vs. technology) when they learn with technology, then we can assume that teaching with technology enhances learning. However, we must take in consideration that students' prior knowledge may be different, parental involvement, etc.

This is a correlational study. We are going to compare three groups of teachers for their students' standardized achievement test scores at two time points. It is not a true experiment.Compare a teachers' students' standardized test scores before and after the teacher passed the math and reading test of teachers. Compare those teachers' students' standardized achievement test scores with those of teachers who did not pass the math and reading test either time. Compare all of them with teachers who passed the test before you started collecting the data at both times as the others. Do the students who perform better have teachers who passed the math and reading test for teachers?
