This part of the sentence is vital to the word meaning and impact because it shows that because the desire is now grown old, the person is dead. This is also proven by the word deathbed, which sets a sad and forgiving mood to the sentence developing some context.<br><br>"Deathbed lie" is a clue to the word meaning because it develops a context and background of the sentence to tell the reader that the person now lies on his deathbed, deceased.<br><br>The word is a noun, which helps readers because a noun is a person, place, or thing. When the reader is able to think about this, they can develop a better understanding of the emotion and meanings here.
