The scoring of the drawings was very extensive, it really scores every detail/aspect of the persons drawing/life. While giving someone a piece of paper and pencil to draw a picture, it does not represent them psychologically. I was noticing that most of the scoring was if something was drawn well or not would sway answers one way or the other. Just because someone does not draw well does not mean they have a psychological problem. The test in general surprised me by the "issues" we had if we answered it one way or the other. However, it does not surprise me that the outcomes of the test are not reliable or valid. The test to me were far fetching, it does give a somewhat good representation of the persons life but the extra psychological "problems" were a bit much.

The scoring was very detailed and specific. Though like my other classmate I wasn't surprised with the non reliability part. Personally I can't draw to save my life but that does in no way determine my psychological intelligence, which is why depending on the case and history of that person I as a judge would not allow this in my courtroom. It's not valid enough or reliable to truly test someone.

every piece of the scoring seemed to articulate a negative trait. I cannot draw well at all so my drawing resulted in me having many traits applied to me. Although I cannot argue they all would be untrue certainly some are which is a large reason I find this test to be unreliable. I would not allow this to be used in a courtroom setting due to the unreliability to accurately gauge someone's mental state and personality .

I found the scoring to be unreliable.I find it unreliable because everyone cannot draw well and this test scores on your drawings. As a judge I would definitely not solely rely on this test in making a permanent decision on someones life.

A lot of subtle choices like the direction of lines or placement of certain items gave very harsh reasoning. Every little movement does not have to indicate a certain value. While erasing a lot and chasing perfection is definitely a red flag, the inconsistency in pressure could just be a person's art style or what they thought would look best.

When scoring my drawing, I found that a lot of my results contradicted each other. For example, I'm secure with who I am but was also told I'm insecure. I feel like some are also up to interpretation because some things have multiple meanings, one score could indicate that you're either insecure, tense, or simply that you have a lot of energy. That being said, I feel the results are unreliable and should not be used in the courtroom. The results of such a test could change on a daily basis even if the information given from the scoring was reliable.

The scoring of the drawing was very precise. I've notice that the scoring all depended how well and detailed your drawing was. In my case I did not do so; I did a quick sketch. In my opinion I don't think this best determine my psychological intelligence, therefore making this is not valid enough. Furthermore not reliable to be used in a court room setting.

After I had my husband draw all three pictures and I started scoring all three, ninety percent of his results did not in any way represent him at all. I felt that I was putting my judgement into the scoring in trying to figure out what many of the statements were saying. Due to this I would not ever want any judge to use them in any decision making.

The scoring was a lot more intricate than I thought it would be. When I drew my picture, I drew a quick sketch in the lower left hand corner of my notes. Doing so, scored me as being insecure, depressed and unsure of myself so, my feelings are hurt... Haha! Other than that, I do not think this is a very adequate way of telling psychological characteristics in a person. I also definitely do not think they should ever be used in a courtroom.

After looking at other peoples posts I made sure to take my time with drawing and simply do what I wanted to ensure good results. And both fortunately and unfortunately I got a lot of the same things that had to do with anxiety and poor ego. While I am unsure about my ego I have been diagnosed with anxiety for years now so that made sense. I think that if the individual really tries and takes the time to put thought into the drawings, it could work.

I made sure not to read the module content or look at other posts prior to doing the drawing and test so as to limit how much they would affect my outcome. I found the test scoring to be quite rigid, extreme and mostly just negative in general with regards to interpretations of features, details, omissions etc. For example, my omission of ears was noted as being indicative of being "healthy with normal adjustment", yet also "minimizes contact with environment". It almost seems as if those two answers are contradictory. How can someone be normally adjusted yet minimize contact with their environment which seems like would be a coping mechanism of sorts. A sharply pointed nose was also indicative of acting out tendencies, which just seemed odd to me. How was this decided? What is the science behind this assumption? I definitely don't agree with the use of projective tests in courtrooms and would not allow for their use in my courtroom. I'm not sure if I can imagine a scenario which would change my mind. It's all very interesting to me.

I've read through a lot of the previous excerpts and I have to say that I did not take time on my drawing at all. I did do a really quick sketch of a house, but one of the answers that stuck out to me was the perspective tendencies, because right now I am experiencing a high level of sadness as well as being looked at as someone on this pedestal, but still having my days where I feel empty and alone. However, I'm not sure if I would allow use for this in my courtroom if I were a judge. If the test relies on how I'm feeling in the moment, it could change over a few days time - and I might even draw a better, more detailed picture.
