Started a literary summary table to help support my literature review part of my introduction.

I started with broad topic knowledge and then go more specific with studies to lead onto research question. I gave thought to what order to put studies in the table to ensure those with similar findings and results are grouped together, to ensure flow in my introduction.

• Posted a link to the questionnaire alongside a description of the study on my LinkedIn profile.

• Contacted friends who posted a link to the questionnaire alongside a description of the study on MMU women's rugby, MMU dance and MMU football group chats .

• Contacted friends who fit participant inclusion criteria with a link to the study and description of the study and also asked them to pass it on to anyone else they knew who also fit the criteria.

I then did some further research on case studies of interpersonal violence in elite sport for my introduction.

We went through descriptive statistics and correlations.

I came out of this meeting feeling so much more confident and clearer on what my results section should include.

• Whether I can reference the guardian newspaper in the way I had

• checking my research question nicely follows on from my literature review

• Checking the scale that one of my studies (Parent et al., 2021) used was the same as the one we used

• Checking whether someone (Marsh et al., 2010) can validate his own scale.

• Checking that the measures of wellbeing and illbeing in this study are depression, self-esteem and vitality

I then collated all this data and made all 7 of my tables and inserted them into the results section of my dissertation. I added titles and brief descriptions

• a brief summary of my findings in relation to aims and hypothesis

• compared my findings to those of previous studies

• explained my findings in relation to scientific principles- in my case I used self determination theory and social learning theory

• gave implications and applications of findings

• finally I gave strengths and weaknesses of my study and gave some ideas I had for future research based on the current study

I completed my reference list and then sent the draft to Paul.
