         <description><![CDATA[<div>1 thing that is on my mind constantly is having to teach a whole new class of kiddos I don't know from a distance. I can't imagine distance learning going as smoothly without actually knowing my kids super well. Do we consider looping with our kids next year? (Issue with kinder and 6th) we need to think about this. The social aspect is VITAL.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There’s about 300 minutes instructional time in the day.  I’m thinking we could do a hybrid....150 minutes at school and 150 home.  Classes are divided into two parts.... A and B.  <br><br>Alternate morning and afternoon times with the A and B classes.  <br><br>Teaching day <br>8:00 to 10:30  1st  section <br>10:45-2:15 2nd section <br><br>Monday A B day <br>Tuesday B A day<br>Wednesday A B day <br>Thursday B A day <br>Friday A B day <br><br>The next week would be opposite <br>Monday B A day <br>Tuesday A B day <br>Wednesday B A day <br>Thursday A B day <br>Friday B A day <br><br>This would allow both groups to equally have morning and afternoon teaching time and both groups would be taught what teachers determine the most essential and then distance learning for second half of the day.  <br><br>Lunch would be in the B section but served in classroom with no recess.<br><br>The A group would be able to pick up lunch before going home.  <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Considering.....the optimal setting for teaching math i would see in person while language arts and writing works well online.  Another idea would be to teach two sections everyday in Math and teach ELA remotely via zoom live.  I’m finding that discussions in ELA are just as deep or if not deeper via zoom as there’s fewer distractions in the classroom.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Having a group A and B:<br>Each group will come to school twice a week for a half day. Fridays would be all at- home learning.<br><br>Think: which subjects are crucial to teach in person?<br><br>For me, that is math and having morning meetings with the kids. Mental health and socialization is crucial. Two math lessons could be taught per day. Math is exclusively taught in person. Fridays math could be a quiz on Quizziz or Google Forms or keep it as a Fun Friday / review day.<br><br>Recess could be staggered by class. Recess would be a structured, spaced-out game to follow social distancing. This way, pe minutes and recess could be done simultaneously with control. <br><br>ELA and other subjects would continue online. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>
