I did this one all in oil pastel, which made it more like a regular drawing. I had trouble with it when it came out really lightly on the paper. This gave it a cool texture and feel. I wanted the symbol in the middle to be most noticeable, and have the background help do that as well as give off a weird vibe. I like this because of the color resemblance to the mood of this drawing. The background almost helps show the anguish in the guys face. It also kind of melts into each entity.
