During an interview, she said she is hoping she could inspire young girls to do whatever they want. In France, only 21 conductors are women. A new research in 2019 has shown that women are making their own place in this field but only 8 of the world's 100 top conductors are women. This was the starting point of my reflection, about women in men's role and the small representation they have on this scene. I have done some research and wanted to go back in time, starting by the fight for women's right.

Social media is a great platform to manipulate images, lives, and information. Therefore, the idea here is not to manipulate the image itself but to manipulate where it could be posted in order to normalized women's breast. I wanted to recreate an Instagram page and post a topless picture of a woman in a very simple situation. In this situation, Instagram would not censure the picture and the post will be a normal post amongst others. Through this work, I think I only wanted to show what we should see and normalized women's body in order to stop the stereotypes and put women's body where it belongs.

In an ideal situation, I'd have taken a picture of a woman topless simply eating a meal in her own environment (e.g home). This way, I'd like to normalize women's nudity and put it in a non-sexual context. I believe that to fix the issue, we can only keep normalizing it by seeing more women's body in a very banal situation such as eating, watching TV, having a bath, or reading a book. This also includes giving some sort of education to the audience, replace women's body where it belongs and stop associate it with any kind of sexual connotation, and to actually show more reality. Through the normalization, it will also help with mental health and help young women to embrace their body by recognizing themselves through others, showing different type of body shape and colour.
