One thing I learned about GT students is the importance of encouraging and providing time for them to deepen development and understanding, not widen.

One thing I learned is Uppervention. I need to remember to develop deeper and not wider. I will also encourage curiosity. Thinking deeper is more efficient and can prevent busy work if utilized the correct way.

One insight I have about GT students is not assign extra work just because they mastered the content in my class. One thing I will do is to try and make lessons that try and make a connection with real-world events.

One thing I learned today was to not load the students up with more work when they understand the topic but to get to know what they are interested in learning and plan deeper level activities with them.
