This is a photo of a camel, camels are specially adapted to live in the desert because their eyes have three eyelids and two rows of eyelashes that prevents sand from going in their eyes. Camels have a thick coat of hair that protects them from the sun, they have soft and wide feet so they can walk for a long time in the hot sand. When there are food and water, a camel can eat and drink a large amount of food and store it fat in the hump. Then, when there is no food and water, the camel uses the fat for energy.
