Inside the paper, it had the most interesting and specific object, even relating it with TOK concepts like art, science, and language. Furthermore, it had extremely well-written explanations with good grammar. However, the analysis for the second object should have been deeper and more detailed. It was too basic and general.

Good writing but the concept could be developed

We thought the examples in this student work were too vague in correlation to the chosen prompt. Although the writing wasn't bad, the objects lacked impact to the reader and the prompt. For example, when discussing knowledge, the object was bookmarks, which we didn't think was the best possible object.

after analyzing the different exhibitions, we decided that the best is the exhibitions with the label example B. Because the writer describes the object very well, and its very coherent. Despite being quite short, it still provides us readers with informative insights regarding the objects, for example, the Gruul Control Deck from Magic The Gathering. The writer describes how effective the deck is in the meta as well as provide personal experience. The other objects are coherent too, Which is why we consider this exhibition text the best.

A lot of example of Chinese culture and traditions are shown, and is thoroughly compared with other cultures like Equador and Western cultures. Writer explained well how she/he obtained knowledge through comparing her own Chinese culture and learning new cultures from other countries.

Comments :

Some parts of the writing are not clear. Some areas lack proper grammar making the message hard to decipher, but they did have a good selection of objects that ties well to their prompt.

We compared the examples of how knowledge could be shaped by historical development. The first example was a pump with a malfunctioning handle that killed 23000 people from cholera, and this knowledge forever changed the way confronts public health problems.

The second example talked about the history of Jazz, originated from Duke Ellington's album, and how it revolutionized the music industry moving forward.

The third example talks about how Nazi doctors were persecuted for illegal human experiments and changed the way people perceive the voluntarily response of human experiments.

The writing is good and well developed, well analyzed and does a good job comparing different fields of exploration while touching on the main theme.

The prompt shows a good usage of objects that help show how different cultures could affect knowledge. The essay was interesting to read, and the examples used were personal and great, making it easier to understand. Overall, the best essay that we read.

We believe that the objects were very specific and relevant. For instance, the decision to use photomath was very relevant to the main question. However, the objects were not interesting as the objects were closely related to each other hence it was not a fun read. Additionally, the topics were not explained well.

Student H

It was largely uninteresting and there the flow of the text was not good (it was hard to follow). It was very predictable, so nothing was really insightful or interesting.

The second best in our opinion is the Example F. it has some good qualities, for example, for the second object, the text was written in a way where it's pretty easy to understand without us having to watch the tv show. However, due to it's oversimplification of the topic, it almost feel incomplete in a way.
