With all the awards and accolades won by the movie makes one believe it as a flawless movie. But under all the romance one fails to notice that the movie is rooted in racism, class politics, and sexism. The movie depicts all white cash and fails to show any characters of color, instead focusing on anglo saxon or irish descent persons. Hiding the fact that there were asian and middle eastern descent that were on the third class deck of the Titanic. The movie shaws the divide between the rich and the poor in ways that the poor are not only looked down on by the rich, but they are not allowed to mingle or even venture into the areas that are used only for the rich on board. The rich are accommodated in lavish cabins whereas the poor are crammed into the lower deck like animals. Also while the ship sank, it was the rich who were offered a place on the lifeboats where as the doors on the lower deck were locked up cutting off all hope for the poor people trying to save their lives. The movie had not spared even the women who are of the upper class. These women are shown to be dominated by the men. Even in the case of Rose is shown as helpless in front of her fiance Cal who keeps on ordering her around.

The movie shows almost all heroes as white people who are good natured and ready to sacrifice everything for the greater good of all. The villains however, are shown as minority races. To start with, the trade villains are stereotyped as Japanese by being given Asian accents and also they are given Japanese sounding name like “Cato”, as the story continues the hero slips past the Japanese villains and lands on a small planet where he meets Watto who is showed as a hooked nose with a thick yiddish accent. Watto states that mind tricks don't work on him only money does. This is a typical portrayal of a Jewish man who were stereotyped as greedy, big nosed people. Watto also holds Anikin and his mother as a slave which is a symbol of jewish people believed to be slave traders in the early history of america. Then there is Jarjar Binks who is shown as a childish idiot who is likable, easy going and dumb who has to be saved by the Jedi knights. His people, the Gungen, are shown as a brave but primitive tribe who fight their enemies with spear-like weapons. This is a typical stereotype of African Americans, besides the fact that Jarjar Binks is shown as a slave to the white Jedi knight who saved his life.

Rose is taking her black boyfriend, Chris, to meet her white family for the first time. Her parents turn out to be unfazed and everything seems to be going fine. Chris then starts to notice some weird behavior from the black staff at the house. The family then throw a huge party and Chris ends up in some awkward conversations with the guests. He initially just puts it down to the racial difference, but then the guests', and her family’s motives start to appear more disturbing. There are many stereotypes throughout the film. For example, when they first arrive, Rose’s father begins to use slang. He also begins to mention Obama and how he would vote for him for a third term. At dinner, her brother asks Chris if he does MMA fighting due to his genetics and physical abilities. During the party, the guests are also mentioning people such as Tiger Woods and even feeling on his arm muscles as if he is some type of display. When checking the storyline, you notice that Chris is very forgiving and understanding when it comes to the events that are occurring. For example, when her family and their friends are being rude and saying things that aren’t okay, he still claims it’s okay and apologizes himself for acting a certain way. When looking at the relationships between people, in the white family possesses the power throughout the film. They also have black servants that act as subservient roles.

The movie carries the viewer through a seemingly normal day in the neighborhood, Until it gets to the end where the residents of the neighborhood destroy a local pizza parlor in outrage at police officers who brutalized and killed a black person who lived in the neighborhood because he had attacked the owner of the local pizza parlor after getting into a heated argument with him. The movie’s intended audience is for black individuals who are upset about not being treated fairly in society. The movie is directed by Spike Lee who is a successful black director, his message to black people is that it’s understandable why they are upset with the way society has treated them, but violence is never the answer to solving their problems.

He lives split lives; one normal everyday lifestyle and the other fighting crime and saving people. Sandman is one of Spiderman’s enemies. Venom is the black gooey liquid like form of Spiderman’s suit who feeds off of anger and enhances Spiderman’s negative/evil side within. MaryJane (MJ) is Spiderman’s significant other who is Spiderman’s weakness. Harry Osborne is the best friend of Spiderman and as on and off as the friendship was Harry helped Spiderman in the end to save MaryJane. Spiderman meets Sandman in a city work truck where he confronts Sandman of killing his Uncle Ben and robbing a wrestling venue for his terminally ill daughter, Penny. Sandman realizes he is being accused for a crime he didn’t commit but was sent to prison for untold reasons. After this, they fought in the work truck, and Sandman ended up getting away. A symbiote was created from a meteorite, and attached to Spiderman’s suit. He awakens later in his suit with a dark side including; enhanced powers and a changed personality. Later, with his darkened personality, MaryJane tells him that she can’t be with him, and therefore attaches to Harry. The symbiote is almost impossible to seperate from Spiderman when they fight at the Bell Tower, he realizes the sound and vibration make the symbiote weak. The symbiote attaches itself to Eddie creating Venom. Venom and Sandman make an alliance to defeat Spiderman by using MaryJane as bait to lure him in. During this fight, Harry comes to help Spiderman defeat Sandman and Venom. In the end, Harry sacrifices himself to save Spiderman who then defeats the symbiote and Eddie (Venom) and forgives the Sandman.

Sully is a blue spotted furry monster who is loveable. Boo is 2 years old with a pink dress and pigtails. Randall is a chameleon like reptile who terrifies Boo and is Sully’s main enemy. Mr. Waternoose is the owner of the company who wants to get rid of Boo in order to keep his good reputation of the company. Boo leaves her door which leads her to the inside of the company to follow Sully to the locker room. Sully freaks out and then tells Mike about the situation to help him find Boo’s door. Randall finds out that Sully and Mike are hiding Boo from Mr. Waternoose to avoid him from finding out about her. Sully, Mike, and Boo go on a journey in search of her door, when Randall and Mr. Waternoose chase after them to capture Boo and get rid of her. Sully and Mike get seperated from Boo, in which Mr. Waternoose takes her away to be destroyed. Sully and Mike find their way back to Boo, and after finding out that her door was destroyed they get the pieces together, so Boo can go home. In the end, Randall is sent away and Mr. Waternoose is fired, while Sully and Mike unite Boo with her door and get her home safe. None of the women were shown as independent strong women, most were seen as missing something, they were trying to meet a man that could get them to where they want to be. The white guy wants to preserve the black roots of jazz while the black guy is the sellout. The only prominent black character in the story. This sends a bigoted message since the black guy isn't the one who wants to preserve his culture, it is the white guy. This would not be as big of an issue if there were more black men in the film, but they took the only colored character with a speaking role and made them the sellout who just plays music for the crowd.
