  • education, cooperation, coordination bit in the draft,  combined with valuing local and traditional knowledge, acknowledging the power privilege dynamic, and acknowledging all of this as a community resilience strategy
  • meetings in the field, sharing tactics among organizations
  •  interagency collaboration seeing first nations as an equal workforce as a working entity for their own jurisdiction but also cooperative within the larger picture
  • respecting TNG as a government 
  • space for ceremony, traditional practices, learning protocols, TEK etc.
  • acknowledging the living relationships, needs to keep going every season and in-between
  • recognizing that the first few years will be rocky learning curves, and after that it may smooth out into something more natural
  • Stakeholders may also be asked to make a personal commitment to things like cultural safety training (through their org or on their own), and maybe workshops can be offered as part of the engagement strategy like the blanket exercise or the Village.
