Aretha was a gifted singer and pianist she was the fourth of 5 children, her full name is Aretha Louis Franklin, she was born on march 25 of 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee and she was also in a religious household in Tennessee. Aretha's genre was mostly soul. she was known as 'the queen of soul' In 1987, she became the first female ever to be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2008 she won her 18th Grammy Award. Franklin went on to release some of popular singles, many of which are now considered classics. Her mother named Barbara was a gospel singer. Aretha, known as, 'the queen of soul' and also known for such hits as respect, she was often acting like an adult, in which she became a mother at 14 and had a second child 2 years later, when she was 16.

in 1967 jerry goffin wrote the song (you make me feel like a) I've researched and come to the conclusion of the songs meaning. I believe this song talk about I man making a woman feel like actual woman and not a object. when jerry coffin wrote, 'Before the day I met you, life was so unkind
But your the key to my peace of mind' shows that he really does try too hard to have memorised life with him, and his making her feel like a woman which would mean, that his kind, caring, gentle and making her feel classy.

i chose 'natural woman' by Aretha franklin because it suits my voice and because this song is similar to my life so i sing it to the audience and will try and give the same emotions to the people that will watch me and also i will be my self when singing this song. i think i'm going to change it a little bit from the original part because there are some bits that will not suit my voice and some bits that will. i will make sure i will do my best to change it and sing it and being me. the key of this song is in c major. but i will change key of the song because is too high for me and will probably be down of -2.

First, though, a crash course in how a dynamic microphone converts sound waves into electrical energy Like all dynamic microphones, the SM58 employs a diaphragm/voice coil/magnet assembly that establish a miniature sound-driven electrical generator. Sound waves strike a thin and light membrane called the diaphragm, causing it to vibrate. The voice coil is attached to the rear of the diaphragm and vibrates with it. The voice coil is surrounded by a magnetic field created by a small magnet. The motion of the voice coil in the magnetic field generates the electrical signal corresponding to the sound picked up by the microphone.
