1- I know that Bulosan's /America Is In the Heart/ is beloved and also heavily critiqued. Regardless of ones' position on it, he discusses the Filipino worker presence in the very same fields that surround CSUCI. I have 2 suggestions to reflect this: a) have the student reading the generic "Asian Pacific....Studies" book actually be the Bulosan text; b) have an image of Filipinx and Latinx workers. This is significant to our CSU student population in toto.
