It is the rule that new energy cannot be created and energy cannot be destroyed or "thrown" away. Although it can be changed into different forms of energy. For example, if you have a night light plugged into an outlet, energy is being changed from electrical energy to light energy, but their is still the same amount of energy before and after the change.</div>]]></description>

Energy flows because it changes from light energy and then when it goes through the solar panels it transfers to electrical energy. After that it goes to a light bulb and the energy transfers back to light energy.</div>]]></description>
