The introduction of the movie would be Billy Weaver walking the streets of Bath, struggling to find a place to stay. It turns dark and he finally sees a normal looking house that says Bed and Breakfast. (There is no mention of the Red Dragon) The landlady is standing literally behind the door, waiting for his to walk near the door. The landlady opens the door before Billy was able to ring the doorbell. The next following scenes continue exactly as written, until he is poisoned. Billy tries to run away but the landlady was able to catch up to him. Then we see the scene where she is about to stuff him and the scene turns black the moment the landlady is about the cut Billy.
