This is a current campaign that has been initiated by the Spanish government. The primary objective of this study is to concentrate on consent in sexual relations. Spain witnessed a significant discourse surrounding the 'only yes means yes' legislation, which stipulates that explicit consent is a prerequisite for any sexual interaction, thereby distinguishing such interactions from sexual assault. Moreover, the law stipulates that the victim of sexual violence is not defined by the degree of violence or resistance they have suffered, but rather by the absence of consent. I think the aim behind this campaign is twofold: firstly, to raise awareness about the willingness with which sexual relations are maintained, and secondly, to increase sensitivity about the violence that can surround such relations, especially among youth.

This represents a departure from both Western and group stereotypes. The former perceives Muslim women to be oppressed, particularly in terms of sexual expression. The latter views women as passive and controllable. It is evident that both stereotypes are manifestations of a global patriarchal gaze that perpetrates a relentless pursuit of domination over the female body. It is evident that the lifestyle exhibited serves as a demonstration of the absence of renunciation, thereby signifying a synthesis and hybridization of aesthetic canons and relational living practices.

lately I watched this serie on Netflix, which was about a woman who get mad at her ex-husband for having a relationship with someone else. Sometimes the sexual aspect was like really out there, for example when they try to convince someone for their support in the fight and that is someone who has a sex club, so they end up at a party, that was kind of explicit. It is not the main thing in the serie, but the explicity of it was something I was noticing

I'm in a choir and to promote our Christmas concert we recently filmed the Christmas performance from Mean Girls which made me think of the movie again. I think it shows well the expectations on especially young girls to be pretty and have romantic and sexual relationships in order to feel worthy. The movie does a good job at showing how people can get lost in these narratives but that it is possible to also conceptualize oneself differently. It also shows that while finding self-worth in sexuality and looks alone is not fulfilling that it's still okay to also experience these things and find pleasure in them
