This photo is blurry where movement was made while I was taking it. It is only focused where there was less movement. The shutter speed is slower so that is the reason as to why it's blurry.

This photo is very blurry since it has a very slow shutter speed. Lighting is also something that is different because of the slow shutter. It seems brighter than all the other photos, but they were all taken in the same place.

The Shutter Priority is managed by changing the upper dial. For this assignment we had it set at Shutter Priority mode, which is the letter S on the dial. The photograph when it has a slow shutter speed is completely different from what I saw. It's different because the slow shutter makes the photo look slowed down, giving it a blurry look. When it has a fast shutter speed it looks more like what I saw because it is focused and not blurry. The only difference of what I saw from the photos is that they weren't floating in mid air.
I would want to use slow shutter speed when there is light involved in dark places. Like a picture of a freeway, especially when it is slightly dark out because the headlights and back lights of the cars would create streak of lights/colors in the photograph. I think I will most likely stick to using slow shutter speed for photos because I like how lights look in the photographs.

Shutter Speed: 1/2,500

A fast shutter speed is all depended on what you are shooting, because if were shooting a landscape I would shoot with a 1/250 shutter speed to have the image nice and sharp. But when I am shooting something fast moving like a wave or a surfer I like to shoot at a minimum shutter speed of 1/1500 to keep the image sharp because I have found that anything less I will not produce perfectly sharp images.

The final shot is a beautiful example of light trails using this technique. The photographer has used a 30 second shutter speed for this but what gives the wonderful glow to the trails is the fact that he has combined eight separate shots in one image - very nice!
