In a significant encounter, a man dressed in white with black hair approached the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) while he was with his companions. He posed questions about Islam, Iman (faith), and Ihsan (excellence). The Prophet explained that Islam involves the testimony of faith, prayer, zakah, fasting during Ramadan, and Hajj, to which the man affirmed the truth of his answers. When inquiring about Iman, the Prophet defined it as belief in Allah, angels, books, messengers, the Last Day, and fate. Upon asking about Ihsan, the Prophet described it as serving Allah with the awareness of His presence. The man also asked about the Hour and was informed of signs indicating its approach. After the man departed, the Prophet revealed that he was the Angel Jibril, sent to teach the companions about their religion.

Br Abdul Muhaimin also mention that example of ihsan towards our parents and animals.

Examples Ihsan :

1. We should take care our parents with full of love and meek so that our parents feels loved

2.

Belief in Qada and Qadar (pre-destination) is a fundamental principle of faith in Islam, emphasizing that true belief requires acceptance of Allah's divine decree. This belief fosters contentment even during hardships and derives from Allah's attributes governing the universe. It consists of four components: Knowledge (Allah's comprehensive understanding of all events), Writing (recording of fate in the Preserved Tablet), Will (the necessity of Allah's consent for existence), and Creation (Allah as the creator of all, including life and death). The benefits of this belief include peace of mind, focus on present actions, willpower in serving Allah, humility, dependence on Allah, and nurturing positive behavior while eliminating envy.

The document discusses the essential belief in the messengers and prophets (Rasul and Anbiya’) in Islam, emphasizing that all prophets brought the same core message of Tawhid (the oneness of Allah). Belief in all prophets is a prerequisite for being a true believer; denying any prophet constitutes disbelief. The necessity of prophets is highlighted, as they provide guidance, clarify the purpose of creation, and serve as examples for righteous living. Specific blessings bestowed upon Prophet Muhammad include his universal mission to mankind and unique privileges. The document concludes by outlining how Muslims can emulate the prophetic lifestyle, focusing on virtues like gratitude and tolerance.

The concept of Iḥsān (religious excellence) in Islam signifies the alignment of a person's will with that of Allah, influencing moral conduct and worship. It is part of a trilogy with Islām and Īmān, where Iḥsān represents the highest level of faith. The term Iḥsān, derived from the Arabic word for goodness, emphasizes exceeding mere obligations in both worship and interpersonal relationships. The Qur'an and Hadith illustrate the significance of Iḥsān, highlighting that true virtue involves going beyond justice in ensuring the rights of others, particularly showing benevolence to parents and the vulnerable. Iḥsān not only applies to acts of worship but also governs behavior in daily life, advocating for compassion and respect in all interactions.

Acts of worship in Islam, such as prayer (Ṣalah), fasting , charity (Zakāh), and pilgrimage (Ḥajj), serve essential roles in promoting righteousness and moral conduct among believers. As illustrated in various Quranic verses, these practices are decreed to instill discipline and awareness of Allah. For instance, prayer is emphasized as a means to deter immoral behavior, and fasting is a prescribed method for attaining piety. The act of giving charity is portrayed as a means of purification and reassurance. Collectively, these acts are integral to cultivating spiritual and ethical values within the Muslim community.

Fasting is prescribed for believers as a means to attain mindfulness of Allah, as indicated in the Quranic verse from Al-Baqarah (2:183). This obligation is linked to past communities, primarily the Jews and Christians, encouraging Muslims to improve upon their predecessors. The concept of Taqwa, or mindfulness and caution toward undesirable actions, is integral to fasting. Six virtues of fasting are highlighted, including patience (Sabr) in obedience to Allah and restraint from sin. Al-Ghazali categorizes fasting into three levels: minimum abstention from food and drink, conscientiousness against sin, and optimal detachment from worldly distractions. Fasting also cultivates empathy (Rahmah) by fostering a sense of humility and encouraging acts of charity towards the less fortunate.
