When they went to the food place they ate sinulog, lugaw and lechon, as they were eating a Dog came up to Peter and started to bark asking for food so peter gave the Dog a peice of his lechon. But peter is still thinking about the concept celebrating and a word he heard a while ago "bayanihan".

As Peter and his Grandma were walking in the streets Peter asked grandma "Grandma what is the point of celebrating this day if its only about eating amd dancing!?" Peter asked. Grandma replied "Peter dont be like that but soon enough you will realize how beautiful the filipino tradition is" Peter got mad so he ran away.

Peter ended up in a random street where the festival  was still heppening, Peter still didn't understand but he decided to try actually looking at the dancers as he didint before. And when he paid attention, he was amazed! He saw how much the fillipinos cared about their traditions and dances, so he decided to go back to Grandma.

As he was going back he felt a sense of guilt, he felt bad as he was a little angry at Grandma and Grandma was probably worried about him so he rushed to go to Grandma. As Peter saw Grandma he quickly hugged Grandma and apologized to Grandma. Peter said to Grandma " Grandma im sorry for being mad at you and not knowing how beautiful the traditions were.

Grandma said" Its okay peter as i said you would understand soon enough" As they were walkimg home Peter smiled, Seeing the amazing culture of the phillipines, the traditions, dances and culture. The end
