Physical- Acceleration to get at least 2 yards away from the defender so you have space to create, stamina this is because cam should keep on the move always trying to get on the ball , agility, again to get away from the defender 
Physchological- confidence need to be creative if you are not confident you might not want the ball , brave to get on the ball whilst a defender is tight , professionalism all players need this

Why range of passing-
A CDM needs a good range of passing as most of the play will be built up through him. If the player is able to play quality passes over shorter and longer distances then he will be more effective when the team is in possession.

 Heading- need to be dominant in the air to prevent the striker running in behind and having opportunities on goal.
Tackling- needs to be able to win the ball from the opponent to stop them having possession because if the opponent dosnt have possession
 then they can’t score.
