They use fame and voice to send a warning about the lack of decent healthcare for everyone in the US. Drawing a parallel between the actual situation in the US and the situation in the series, and claim that is not fictional anymore and that it becomes reality. According to some researches one women out of 4 will have an abortion in her life. While in the USA only one clinic for 6 states can practice legal abortions. It's actually a matter of lack of healthcare that more than 19 million people suffer from in the US. And I don't even need to talk about the several states that have already banned legal and safe abortions after 6 weeks.

As far as i'm concerned, this chapter is really fascinating mainly because it tackles an issue we may encounter in our daily life which is the lack of female freedom. There are some things I have learnt through some of the articles we studied such as the fact that rape was used to terrorize. I always thought rapists were just, well not just but, crazy, they couldn't think clearly so they acted on behalf of their consciousness, but now that we studied the article "Rape is still used as a weapon of war", I'm able to say, men are made to be stupid enough to dare remove something that precious, which can be virginity, dignity or even honor, from a woman only to prove they exist.

Rape is still being used as a weapon of war. Right now. Today:Article from the Washington Post

Illustrates how rape is being used as a weapon for the military. It is the case for several countries around the world. Used to demonstrate one’s power over the other. Impose severe humiliation, to destroy one’s dignity and to devastate the souls of these victims. Complete opposite of what sex should feel like. Even men find themselves being victims of these horrific actions just like in Libya.
