The Travels of Marco Polo is medieval literature in which is written about the Marco Polo's movements throughout Asia between 1271 and 1295. It points out most of the travels that he did; for example, to the Middle East, Central Asia, the East coast of Africa, Japan, Russia, and so on. Although each one of these destinations is written in distinct books, there are four books in total. These books were co-written by Rustichello da Pisa who was an Italian writer that met Polo while both of them were in prison. He highlighted the differences between European culture and other cultures he came in contact with. Last but not least, he told Rustichello all the things that he saw and learned and after doing that, the book was written and titled "The Travels of Marco Polo"
