Money is the root of all evil, it makes people do some messed up stuff. People are ruthless once money is involved, hurting people they "cared" about, harming their environment, and destructing everything else in their life just so they can get the "prize". Many many people will lie to gain more for themselves, even if it hurts other people to the worst extremes imaginable. On the other hand, people will be honest as well to gain more for themselves, whomever is being honest could be risking their lives. Unless they are admitting to a crime, some people like to give people compensation, but this is a very rare thing that can happen though. Again, I definitely agree with the dishonesty though, especially now with our capitalist government, we become so cold-hearted and selfish when money is in the picture because we're greedy. We as people want many things, and we don't/won't stop until we get what we want, even if it harms other people.
