One day the other cousins didn't come because they were busy. I sat down with the adults and was disappointed. Then the adults started making some jokes. Heck even I enjoyed some of them. They were talking about a lot of things I didn't even know were happening in the world. At that moment I realized that sitting with the adults wasn't that boring; in fact it was actually pretty fun.

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because it shows that I used to think that the adults were all boring and stayed too close with my cousins, but as soon as my cousins weren't there I found out that adults are pretty interesting as soon as I sat with them. I didn't see the big deal personally. I thought they were just overreacting, until I decided to order something myself. I ordered a hoodie once for my brothers birthday. When it arrived I saw that it was not nearly the size it said it was. It was a scam and I realized that looks can often be deceiving.
