1 topic we found the most interesting was how political influence can be determined by redistricting. Redistricting provides an unfair advantage to a certain political party, and has been fought by many political and influential groups. It has since been restricted in some states, but there is still a long way to go before it is completely balanced.
2 topics we did not understand were gerrymandering and how it works and how states can challenge redistricted maps in court.
3 topics we learned about include how redistricting works, and how it affects our government. Another topic we learned about was how the digital dollar is developing and how it works. It also talks about the problems that may come with the digital dollar. A third topic that we learned about was South Africa's diamond rush, and how many people are moving to South Africa with the promise of diamonds, similar to the gold with the Oregon trail in America, but it was with diamonds.

1.Three topics we learned about are digital curency, redistricting, and secrets of the constitution. In digital currency article we learned that digital currency must be exchanged electronically because it had no physical form and China is the farthest along with this technology. In the redistricting article we learned that redistricting is necessary in order to keep the number of representatives factual and in agreement with size. Redistricting is also done every 10 years. The secrets of the Constiution talks about how slavery was a big point in the constitution even though the word was never used and the Constitution was almost a failure because the small and large states could not agree.

2. Two topics we still have questions are:
Will the dollar go digital-
When will the entire world be expected to be using digital currency?
Would cryptocurrency cause inflation and economic problems?

Redistricting-
Will redistricting ever be fair for both political parties?
What is causing most Midwestern states to decrease in population?

3. One topic we found to be the most interesting was the article about digital currency because that will be a big part of our future life and it will effect the way our economy works.

1) I learned about redistricting because I have never heard of it before. I learned that every ten years states lose or gain representatives based on populations and politicians try to take advantage of it. Another thing that I learned was putting your resumes on TikTok and other social medias actually works. I would expect most people to just find it as a joke and ignore it but it is interesting that more than 15 jobs responded seriously. The last thing that I learned was which countries love social media the most, I would of expected the US to be at the top because of how much time I see kids on their phones but surprisingly the US is fourth with India, Nigeria, and the Philippines all being above it with the Philippines being almost double the US.

2)One question I had was about the Secrets of the Constitution because all of these secretes made me think about them more instead of answering the questions. I would like to ask how they spent 4 months making the constitution but there were still so many problems that came up and a bill of rights needed to be created. Another article that I have a question about is Will The Dollar Go Digital, because similar to the last article this article made me have lots of questions of the digital dollar. For example when would this happen and how would you get people without phones to be able to use this type of currency with making them get a phone if they don't have money to buy one.

3)The article that I found most interesting was the one about redistricting because I have never heard about it and it is really interesting to see how politicians try and take every advantage that they can.

Gerrymandering is a real threat to fairness in political elections. District lines are redrawn to give one political party an advantage during elections.

There are many secrets about the creation of the Constitution. Many things are unknown to a lot of people about what happened when the document was made. Behind the scenes, there was a lot of bickering and other things.

Cryptocurrency is being developed in China and other countries. There are many pros and cons to the digital money suggestion. Experts are hopeful and worried about this new money system.

We don't understand why people would want to go online with their money, it's easy to get hacked and stuff. So why would people switch if it would make things more likely to get robbed? Also what if your phone is dead and you need to buy something?

The topic of money going full digital is a subject that we have much interest in. The future of our country can be impacted by digital money, and if we use it.

3 topics we learned about: 1) The U.S. Constitution wasn't the first constitution. The Articles of Confederation was a document that had established a national government in the years prior to the constitution we know today. 2) Many politicians gerrymander, or purposefully draw the lines in their maps to give themselves an advantage in the election. 3) The Bill of Rights wasn't originally included in constitution. Many of the framers wanted to go home.

2 topics we have more questions about: 1) If gerrymandering is so unfair, why do we continue to let it happen, year after year? Why don't make a law against it? 2) What other effects would digital currency have on our world? Would it make it easier to forge money or hack into bank accounts?

1 topic we found the most interesting: The digital dollar and how it might affect money as we know it today. The introduction of digital money allows the government to issue payments instantly, and it would save taxpayers money because they don't need to print as much paper money. However, CBDC can make it easier for the government to track you. This topic is very interesting to me, and I am curious to see how it would influence the world if it was introduced.

Mirabella Zingales, Ella Pelton, and Ava Jelepis

3 topics I learned about 1) Pakistan is one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change, and their government is plantling over 10 Billion trees to help prevent it. People are starting to apply for jobs via Tik Tok. Over half of the worlds population is now on social media. 2) Why are politicians still allowed to redraw districts in their favor? What are larger countries doing to curb climate change? Why should Pakistan have to do so much, when other countries are doing so little? The topic I found most interesting was the redistricting. It helped explain some of the major flaws in our democracy.

I don't really understand digital currency but it seems to be good for people who do. I also was surprised that Ohio is losing electoral seats probably because we are from Ohio

2 topics id like to learn more about is the constitution the farmers signed.

1) Three topics that I learned about from reading the article are digital currency, redistricting, and the secrets of the constitution/how it was created. In the article "Will the Dollar Go Digital?" I learned that some countries are starting to explore a new type of money that is totally electronic and has no physical form. Before reading the redistricting article I had no idea what the concept of redistricting even was. I learned that voting districts are redrawn every ten years to give one political party an advantage. Something interesting that I learned from "Secrets of the Constitution" was that when counting population the delegates would count enslaved people as three fifths of a person.

2.)Two topics that I still have questions about would be:

How was slavery not written one time in the constitution if it was one of the biggest points of contention?

Why would people want to fully go digital with money if the chinese government has a history of spying on citizens? There are many potential problems that I am thinking about too such as what would happen if people find out a way to hack the digital money system.

3.) The article that I found most interesting was the one about the digital currency because this could become a big thing in the future and there are even some stores in Sweden that don't even accept cash.

Topics I have more questions about are about the credibility of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and if at one point, we will end up switching and abandoning the dollar. Additionally, I am curious on how taxing works on cryptocurriences since i've heard that Bitcoin is completely anonymous.

3. One topic I found to be most interesting was the article about the cryptocurrencies and digital currencies because I believe that at some point, we will end up switching from the dollar, once it loses its value.

Also, I learned about how every 10 years, districts are re distributed to make it more favorable for a certain party. I had already learned about the many aspects of the constitution that were either omitted entirely or had some form of debate in whether it should be added.
Topics I have more questions about are the credibility and actual effectiveness in security of switching to digital official currency.
