         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>The respiratory system is a large spiderweb of organs within our body that allow us to breathe.<br><br>The respiratory system allows us to breathe by swaping oxygen we inhale into carbon dioxide as we exhale&nbsp;<br>Your lungs are one of the major factors in the respiratory system. They remove gases our body doesn't need like carbon dioxide. Another important organ is the trachea. Your trachea's most important function is to carry the air in and out of your lungs so the gas can enter and exit.<br><br>Other organs;<br>- Nasal Cavity<br>- Nostrils&nbsp;<br>- Throat<br>- Airways<br>- Voicebox<br><br>Asthma is a long-term condition that affects the airways (bronchi) in the lungs. It makes it harder to breathe, as asthma causes the airways to become inflamed and narrow at times.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The reproductive system has two main purposes: to produce egg and sperm cells that fuse together to create new life, and to nurture developing offspring (fetuses).<br><br>The reproductive system is made up of the organs involved in sexual reproduction.<br>* For females, this includes:<br>- the vagina (passageway for blood during a period, recieves the penis during intercourse, passageway for childbirth)<br>- uterus (nourishes fetus prior to birth)<br>- cervix (allows fluids to flow inside and out of your uterus)<br>- ovaries (provides eggs that travel through the fallopian tubes)<br>- the fallopian tubes (channels for fertilization)<br>* For men, this includes<br>- the penis (helps semen leave the male body and enter the female's body.)<br>- the testicles (produce sperm)<br>- the prostate (nourishes and transports sperm)<br><br>The main disorders that affect the reproductive system are STIs, or sexually transmitted infections, such as chlamydia, HIV/AIDS, and herpes. Untreated STIs can greatly damage the organs in the reproductive system, sometimes rendering them functionless.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Purpose</strong><br>The immune system defends the body from infections by recognising invaders such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi. White blood cells then attack the invader, which is why we have fevers and other sicknesses.<br><br><strong>Organs Involved</strong><br>Many organs are involved in the immune system. Some of the main ones are the skin, which is the first line of defence; bone marrow, which helps produce immune cells; thymus, where some immune cells mature; lymphatic system, which allows immune cells to travel across tissues; lymph nodes, which help the lymphatic system communicate; and the spleen, which processes information from blood mucous membranes.<br><br><strong>Disorders</strong><br>There are different types of immune diseases, but two examples are asthma and type 1 diabetes.<br><br><strong>Asthma</strong> is caused by an overactive immune system, some symptoms being coughing, wheezing, and difficulty breathing.<br><br><strong>Type 1 diabetes</strong>&nbsp;is caused by the immune system attacking cells that produce insulin, which causes a blood sugar imbalance. Some symptoms may include sudden weight loss, excess water consumption, and a constant need to pee.</div>]]></description>
