She disappears and is gone forever. Orpheus is left heartbroken and spends the rest of his days sadly playing his music. http://heartbreakingreekmythology.weebly.com/
In many fictional things is where heartbreaking tales happen. This particular story is a Greek Myth. Greek myths have quite a few devistating love tales as this one is, one character is left heartbroken.
This story showed me that the topic heartbreak happened even in the myths of one of the famous types of histories in the world.
In this myth, who ever wrote it down for the history of the greeks, used the fact that Orpheus was so in love with Eurydice that he went down to the depths of the underworld to see if he can rescue her. Orpheus was told by Hades that if he looked at Eurydice before they made it out of the underwolrd that she could leave. The author states that Orpheus caught just a glimpse of her and she was sent back to the underworld. Because Orpheus was so heartbroken he plays his music grieving over his dead love. The big thing that the author was getting accross was the fact that he couldn't look at her at all, even if it was just even a glimpse and on accedent, that she would not be able to leave the under world.

There are some articles that have proven that people have broken hearts because they die of a broken heart. In this article it lists a few people who died of a broken heart such as Johnny Cash, after his wife died we was to devastated with grief that his diabetes got out of control and he ended up in the hospitle and there is where he died.

http://thoughtcatalog.com/daniel-hayes/2015/11/documented-cases-of-people-actually-dying-of-a-broken-heart/
This source pretains to my topic because this sight list many different people that died of grief also known as a broken heart. It is said that they are scientificly proven that one can die of a broken heart.
Seeing these many different cases of deaths coused by the loss of their loved ones helps me understand that it doesn't just happen in the stories, that it comes from real people with real reasons to be hurt and grieving.
The author of this article mentioned many times in the listing of the many different people that one can die of a brokenheart. It is not just something that happens in the stories and the movies. They were just mainly trying to say that it is not just a coincidence that they died and that a loved one was gone before them, they died because of that one someone.

Songs are the biggest place for people who are heartbroken. One popular song that is all about heart break is Rascal Flats ' What hurts the most' the chorus veres in the song that makes it so heartbreaking is "What hurts the most
Was being so close
And havin' so much to say
And watchin' you walk away"
https://www.upvenue.com/article/1578-top-35-songs-for-the-broken-hearted.html/4
When it comes to heartbreak within music, it takes having to actually sit there and actually listen to what the singer or song wrighter is trying to portray. With this particular song it talks about how the thing that really hurt more than the actual break up,was the fact that they were so in love that they could see a future and seeing and knowing that the future that they could see faded when one walked away from it all.
Listining and reading the lyrics really gave me a sence of what was being said, that even though it was heartbreak from one she loved, it was knowing that she had more to say and seeing him walk away hurt even worse thatn the actual break up.
The song writer really put some emotion into what they wanted to be sung. To me, the point that they were getting accross was the lines "And havin' so much to say
And watchin' you walk away" was what they were tring to get to their listeners.

Heartbreak in a Visual Representation

Insted of expressing their pain verbaly, some people like to express their emotion in a visual way. In this painting for example by Artist Jaime Zatloukal expresses her heartbreak in how she is feeling.

https://www.pinterest.com/pin/513973376196175443/
With this painting, its not necessairly the actual drawing that makes this piece emotional and heartbreaking, its that colors that are used. The black normaly means that there is something has died, hence the trees. The blue, depending on the shade and the context, shows that the person is sad or depressed.
Seeing this painting showed me that one key thing when looking at a painting or a piece of art, don't just look at the picture, look at the colors and try and connect them with that actual picture and see what the artist was trying to tell the viewers.
The artist was showing their viewers that she was broken hearted, deppressed, sad, but that little splash of color in the corner of the painting was a ray of relief that things will get better.
