What occurs after the Trojan Hero Paris chose Aphrodite to be the fairest against Hera, Athena?

Aphrodite introduced Paris to Helen who was already married king of Sparta. Because Helen was already married Paris had to steal her away from Menelaus causing him to become very angry and starting a war.

How do you think the war would have ended if Aphrodite didn't save Paris?

I think Paris would die from getting strangled by Menelaus. I also believe Helen would be mourning the death of her former lover but also would be happy to go home (concerning she hated but loved Paris)
