Have you ever encountered a post from a restaurant you have never been to before, a little advertisement from them about the cuisine they offer and details of their specialties? And how everything on paper seem to perfectly attuned to your taste—Then when you finally have the chance to try their food, every flavour seems to dance in your tongue and you are spoilt with such delicacy as if the restaurant is catered to you?

This is how I feel about commissioning Xin. The way the ingredients are cooked, the way the spices are blended, the way every element is plated to complement each other, and of course the flavours that finally hit once you have a taste to it. Everything is perfection and it fits too well with what I love and crave more that it is almost as if it is personalised. Simply blissful, 10/10 would recommend especially to those who love darker themes/tropes.

Xin never disappoints! I've been commissioning him since 2021 and the quality never changes — it gets better each year, if I'm honest. The plot flow beautifully and the choice of words is mesmerizing as always. I always commission rarepairs with Xin and needless to say commissioning him saved my country from famine 💃

i'm a writer myself. i'm very picky with commissioning written works because few writers write anything that meet my standards & even fewer tolerate the way i envision the output of my commissions. adjektivis did not just write me something decent (with proper punctuation, tenses, diction etc.). when prompted to write a derivative work featuring a fictional character from a media he doesn't consume, he conducted due diligence & wrote the derivative work with analytical precision so sharp his perception towards the character turned out canon several months after he finished writing. adjektivis stands out to me even more than he already does through his reception of revision notes, some of which highlighted his awkwardness with writing in indonesian--his mother tongue. he did not take it personally and utilized most of my feedback to polish his writing until i confirmed that i was satisfied with the result. for me, commissioning adjektivis is not simply a service purchase experience. it was also an experience of connecting to another person through shared interest in the craft of writing, confronting the grief & shame that comes with writing about our trauma in our mother tongue, and the delicate nature of dissecting the most wicked sides of the human mind via fiction.

even though i described my ocs poorly to xin, he managed to get their dynamics correctly. maybe i need to order a longer commission to xin next time to see how my ocs looked like in xin's writing style o(￣▽￣)ｄ

nicely done, well described scenes, and it flows really smooth for my slow ass brain that needs to reread lines every 4 seconds lol, i did not regret commissioning this guy right here

xin's writing is something else that never fails to disappoint! he has a knack for developing even the simplest of prompts into something amazing. i especially love the way he makes his stories just flow so seamlessly from scene to scene, it's all very well done.

i have ordered several commissions from him and i can tell you that i will be back for more! i definitely recommend commissioning him if you have a dream fic you'd like to be written!

First time commissioning, and I just want to say Xin understood exactly what I was hoping for with this fic!! honestly floored by how seamlessly he wove in the imagery and metaphors I asked for. I love how he picks up on subtle emotional beats and turn them into something vivid and raw, which makes the relationship dynamics feel both heavy and beautiful. Also what makes it even more amazing is that he pulled this off with OCs (no small feat given the 40+ pages of refs I dumped on him KSHDJDHSJKD thanks for braving those anyway!!). It's clear he really listened to what I wanted. Absolutely loved it.
