After doing the grammar activity for the day, go to this article on the hottest and coldest places on Earth. You can read it yourself, have it read to you (there's a read-to-me option on the left side), and even make the words simpler (click 'Lower Level' on the left side) if you're having trouble!

Once done, answer the following question...

In what ways are Dallol and Oymyakon alike? In what ways are they different? Write one paragraph to answer these questions. Make sure to use details from the articles.

You can number and turn in your answers in our Language Arts section on Edmodo (with a text response) or even can use a speech-to-text program (such as https://speechnotes.co/ ) to record yourself reading out your answers (after that turning in the saved file, or copying and pasting the text into your submission on Edmodo)!

We will be continuing our French learning online using Brightspace as our platform. In order to access Brightspace you will need to logon to Peel's BYOD site using your normal Peel login information. Instead of choosing Google classroom, as you might for other classes, you will choose the D2L Brightspace icon (it should look like an orange ball on your screen). Once you press on that icon, you will then be able to select Ms. Garbett's French Class and will be able to see all posts and assignments.
