My favourite book is Pippy Longstockings by Lauren Child. Pippy is a funny character she lives by herself with no adults and gets up to lots of mischief. She makes friends with her neighbours Tommy and Annika and takes them along on her adventures. It is my favourite book because I think it would be fun to have no adults at home.

I love the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling and have seen all of the movies. I like it because Harry goes on lots of adventures and it makes me feel like i am there with him.

One of my favourite stories is Hard Luck, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. In this book I like how Greg doesn't give up on finding new friends after his best friend ditches him. He is also funny because he has a lot of bad luck and nothing seems to go his way. The author is Jeff Kinney

My favourite story of all time is the Witches by Roald Dahl. I can just imagine all of the witches hiding in their disguises and how frightening it would have been for the boy. I also love how he and his grandpa make a plan to rid the Witches forever! I also loved watching the story be bought to life in the movie.
