         <description><![CDATA[<div>The difference between prophase 1 and prophase 2 is that 1 is when each chromosome has its own pair and that is when crossing over occurs. Prophase 2 is when they are still each composed of two chromatids which end up joining up in the center to become metaphase 2.</div>]]></description>
