Transnational feminism aims to put an end to the oppression of women globally, but more specifically, in the context in which they are oppressed based on their intersections. We as women, must support one another while also respecting the autonomy of our fellow women to make the decisions on what is best for them and their views on gender quality.

Transnational feminists are activists who involve themselves with the global movement to understand how not just gender, but race, nationality, class, sexuality, and so many more factors play a part in resisting patriarchy and oppression.

What We Can Do:

Promoting gender equality and empowering women, improving maternal health, and making education more accessible to women are just a few things we can do to eradicate gender inequality.

First African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize... get this - she accepted it "on behalf of the people of Kenya, and Africa, and indeed the whole world."
Transnational Feminism at it's finest.
She has been fighting the good fight, on an issue far bigger than herself, and still exhibits an immense amount of humility. I have so much admiration for her.
